Business Profile
Speck Electronics has been producing quality professional audio products for over 30 years. Founded in 1973 by Vince Poulos, Speck Electronics has consistently provided innovations in audio mixers for all segments of professional recording, and touring.

During the early 1970's when most recording consoles were large semi-custom types, Vince was experimenting with a different class of recording console design. During the years from 1973 through 1986 Speck Electronics was one few U.S. audio companies to manufacture high quality 16 input, 8 bus "in-line" recording consoles at an affordable price. Many of these early consoles are still in operation today.

In 1986, Speck moved their complete operation from Los Angeles, California to Fallbrook, California. Fallbrook is a small agricultural town located about 15 miles from the Pacific Ocean near San Diego. After this move Speck began to concentrate on developing a standard product line of high quality rack mount recording mixers.

Now our products include the MicPre 5.0 microphone preamp, the Model ASC and ASC-V equalizers, and the Xtramix compact audio mixer. The newest additions to our product line are the LiLo and X.Sum line mixers.

Speck Electronics will continue to expand our product line with analog hardware that is complementary to digital recording.
